What an utter embarrassment. Jason Cundy defending Allardyce on Talksport last night, screaming like a school kid with no coherent argument.

What a shower of shit. But there are some good ones.

Like Jim Beglin - incisive, good quick analysis - although he is marmite. Also like Jamie Redknapp because he's got balls and never backs away from a judgement.

I almost 100% agree, BUT I'd put RTE in second place. OK, Dunphy's a cunt but he's not without insight. Brady is very good and Giles is possibly the most insightful TV pundit ever. Or was, he retired after the Euros I believe and more's the pity.

Can't agree with Barry Davies, however, who was just the worst commentator ever for me (not the same thing, but as you brought him up). Just made me want to kick the fucking screen in. I also know various people who've met him and their opinions have been uniform and unanimous - he's a MASSIVE cunt. Rude, arrogant, ignorant fucker.

In first position for me is French radio station RMC. By far the best insight provided by various excellent journalists and pundits. It's a little like comparing l'Equipe with the shite sports journalism our newspapers spew out: head and shoulders above anything in English, unfortunately.

I'll tell you who's fucking soporific and without any interesting insight: Wenger, who does a lot on French TV. Shockingly boring. Not sure whether it's because he's so guarded about what to say and what not to, but if so, FUCK OFF AND BE BORING AT HOME ON YOUR OWN, YOU ARSENAL CUNT.

For me by a Country mile are the RTE panel in Ireland. Lived there for 4 years and the coverage was superb.

Anchored by Bill O'Herily, great delivery, met him at a racecourse once and a lovely old fella.

Eamon Dunphy...youtube him, fucking hilarious.

Liam Brady...dour but great insight

John Giles...good cop bad cop

Can't stand SKY, wanking over a throw in and the United love in that's existed since the early 90's sickening.

My favourite BBC guy was Barry Davis, his delivery was like no other & sorely missed.

In the US on NBC we have Arlo White who used to be on BBC radio, he does a great job & is co commentated with by Graham Le Saux who is quite amusing.

The very best, by a country mile was the first - Jimmy Hill. Outstanding back in the day. These days the best I have seen for years was our Slaven, brilliantly natural analysis and energy.

Have to go against the grain here but I actually don't mind Cundy. Think it's the best show on TS. Actually makes me laugh, yes he does go on a wind up as some knicker wetters on here have said and obviously bit, but at least he's got an alternative opinion rather then the boring shit you hear on five live with their (this always makes me laugh) 'chief' football correspondent and that other snore Chappers. At least Cundy played the game.
I actually thought he had a point that night we went out to Astra, ok he went on but he was right what he said about the two Daves giving it the big'un about us moving to the next level then going out and getting a load of average players on loan.

Might be controversial but have always liked Keown and Dixon as pundits. Also despite his controversy have always thought Collymore tells it as it is. Neville and Craagher have always worked fantastically together too.

Worst has got to be: Souness, Lawrenson and Crooks! Garth Fucking Crooks gets right on my wick! also hate Kilbane and Trevor Francis.

Special mention to Pardew for his MOTD2 appearance and comparing being tackled to rape!
